Caitlyn Townsend was raised in the small town of New Bern, North Carolina. With New Bern’s booming theatre and live music presence, She was destined to be engulfed into the theatre scene herself. Starting community theater at age 8, Caitlyn now goes on to achieve a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater for Young Audiences from East Carolina University. (Go Pirates!)

Caitlyn is very passionate about educational theatre as she believes the younger generation are the future of theatre. She also believes in engaging and collaborating with diverse artists and audiences.

Outside her love for theater, Caitlyn is a major advocate for mental health and a TOTAL goofball. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family, shopping, and is a Diet Coke fanatic!
